Toy Horses // Album & Tour News

February 4th, 2012

Having released their debut self-titled album in 2011, Welsh troubadours Toy Horses are stepping up a gear in 2012 with the re-release up their classic sounding long-player. As well as being lapped up in the UK from Radio 1, 6 Music and Xfm, their melody-fuelled, tracks have been enjoying hours of air-time in the US thanks to Nic Harcourt – who invited the band to perform at his SXSW showcase in 20122.

Harcourt (who worked with Coldplay in the US) went on to proclaim the band as his highlight of the festival, and invited them to perform a session on his KCRW radio show in LA. Their songs also caught the ear of Wilco’s Ken Coomer who contacted the band personally offering to produce their soon-to-be re-released debut album.

As a little taster of things to come, the band are giving away a free download of Howl, taken from the album.
