After moving to Brooklyn from his hometown of Tacoma, Washington, and attending New York University, Brad Oberhofer immersed himself in the indie rock community forming the four-piece which is now, Oberhofer. Having caught the attention of Glassnote Records, the band officially joined the labels’ roster over the Summer of 2011, and are already on their way to a successful 2012.

Drawing on influences ranging from Brian Wilson to Descartes, the 21 year old is said to be fixated on the idea of making philosophically minded, energetic melodies that just make people smile. For a crystal clear example of these ideals, just take a listen to HEART, taken from his forthcoming album Time Capsules II. (April 16th, through Glassnote Records)
